Eclipse (http://www.eclipse.org/) is an Open Source community whose projects are focused on building an open development platform comprised of extensible frameworks, tools and runtimes for building, deploying and managing software across the lifecycle. In MUSIC the part of the framework that provides a Java IDE, along with a plug-in for integrated Subversion[1] support and a Maven[2] plug-in for project building has been used. The Eclipse installation currently used is named Eclipse Classic version 3.3.1.1.
