The European Community for Software & Software Services – Architectures, Infrastructures, Engineering (ECSS), founded by the 3S project, deals with this fundamental shift and analyses the upcoming challenges, both on a technical and a non-technical level. The goal is to develop a joint ECSS White Paper, an action paper for the European Commission with strategic judgements and guidelines that are shared by stakeholders active in the software services field throughout Europe.

We would like to invite you to our 2^nd Workshop on April 3 in Budapest and would very much appreciate if you could also pass this information on to your project partners and project contacts / members (see information below).

We will bring together experts from the scientific community and from the industry for a day full of exchange of thoughts and fruitful discussions. It will give all participants the opportunity, to have direct influence on the White Paper, to play a part in the strategic planning of resources in FP7 and to be published at a European level.
