Tutorials
Up one levelThe tutorial series contained in this folder provide a stepwise introduction on how to develop adaptive application using the MUSIC middleware. The tutorials in this series will gradually introduce you to features available for creating adaptive applications. Typically each tutorial introduces a new feature, but will usually also build further on features already introduced in preceding tutorials.
- Tutorial 1 - Parameter settings — by Erlend Stav — last modified 2009-02-19 13:16
- Our first tutorial gives a demonstration of how variability can be modelled by means of configuration parameters in MUSIC
- Tutorial 2 - Alternative realizations — by Erlend Stav — last modified 2009-02-19 13:16
- This tutorial gives a demonstration of how variability can be modelled through different component realizations.
- Tutorial 3 - Composition — by Erlend Stav — last modified 2009-02-19 13:17
- This tutorial demonstrates how a MUSIC application is created as a composition of components.
- Tutorial 4 - Distribution — by Erlend Stav — last modified 2009-02-19 13:17
- This tutorial demonstrates the how a distributed MUSIC application is created, and shows how alternative compositions can be used to adapt the distribution and composition of the application.
- Tutorial 5 - Hierarchical composition — by Erlend Stav — last modified 2009-02-19 13:17
- This tutorial demonstrates the how hierarchical composition can be applied when developing an adaptive application using MUSIC.
- Tutorial 6 - Architectural constraints — by Erlend Stav — last modified 2009-02-19 13:18
- This tutorial demonstrates how architectural constraints are applied during the creation of variants of a MUSIC application.
- Tutorial 7 - Context Plug-ins — by Nearchos Paspallis — last modified 2009-03-31 10:46
- This tutorial demonstrates how to develop context plug-ins and context aware applications using the MUSIC middleware.
- Tutorial 8 - Services — by Erlend Stav — last modified 2009-02-19 13:36
- This tutorial demonstrates how do develop a MUSIC applications which adapts between using a local component and using available services.
- Video tutorial — by Michael Wagner — last modified 2010-01-21 16:35
- The video tutorial explains how to develop an application following the MUSIC development methodology for context-aware self-adaptive systems.
